- Lead and manage the Accounts department, fostering excellence and collaboration
- Mentor and support Accounts Executives for their professional development
- Prepare comprehensive monthly/quarterly management accounts with accurate profit and loss forecasts
- Generate various financial reports: profit and loss, VAT returns, cash flow, and bank reconciliations
- Conduct regular analysis of financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making
- Assist external auditors, Board Members, and Management during audits to ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain robust internal controls and document accounting processes to mitigate risks
- Monitor cash balances and forecasts to ensure financial stability
- Conduct weekly/monthly bank statement reconciliations according to company policies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop annual budgets and contribute to the yearly business plan
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support budgetary decision-making and strategic planning initiatives
- Be a fully qualified Accountant
- Proven previous experience in a similar role
- Be well-organized, with a track record of achieving targets and a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite
- Display the ability to drive change, take initiative, and act as required
- Proficient in work planning and time management
